High Speed Train
Carrying 150 million passengers a year, the Tokaido Shinkansen is the world’s busiest high-speed train service and the spiritual home of the Japanese Bullet Train. Blowing apart the latest generation with CGI reveals a slew of high tech features that mark the Bullet Train out from its competitors. The new streamlined nose cuts through the air to reduce ‘tunnel boom’ and air suspension allows the train to take corners faster than ever before. The pantographs are optimized for near silent travel and an automated earthquake detection system brings every train on the line to a halt in seconds.
