Two teenage girls growing up in divided communities

A one-off film for C4's First Cut series explores racial integration in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, one of Britain’s most segregated areas. Parts of the town are 98.7% Asian Muslim whilst other parts are totally white - rarely do they mix.

This film, by Director Luned Tonderai, brings together two teenage girls growing up in these divided communities to try and better understand each other’s lives.
