Helen Miller

Development Executive

Named as 'One to Watch' by Edinburgh TV Festival in 2020, Helen’s first experience in television was aged 16 for a Channel 4 Education show in Cambodia. However, she quickly realised that her passions lay in working behind the scenes rather than in front of the camera.

With a breadth of experience across multiple broadcasters and streamers, whilst climbing the ladder in TV, Helen has worked on various iconic productions ranging from Britain’s Got Talent to Great British Railway Journeys. But developing new ideas is her true passion.

Since joining Windfall Films, Helen has been instrumental in developing high-profile, award-winning series and one-off docs such as The Lost Music of Auschwitz, WW2: Secrets From Above and Jabbed! Inside Britain's Vaccine Triumph, winner of the News & Current Affairs award at BAFTA Scotland in 2021.

Helen has also helped the company expand into other genres most recently developing and producing Channel 4's ABBA: 50 Years of Pop, and Windfall's Royal Homes series, which she subsequently edit produced.

So far, her career highlight has been being part of the team that developed the Artist Postcards for Eurovision 2023, which won the BAFTA for Best Live Event Coverage with BBC Studios that year.
