Joby completed his post-grad at Goldsmiths and started as a researcher in BBC Scotland’s specialist factual department.

After 7 years as a drum and bass DJ, Joby found his natural home at Windfall in 2010, directing under the Yoda-like guidance of Carlo Massarella. Since then, he has filmed in every corner of the planet, from the North Pole to the Amazon Rainforest.

Joby has documented the rebirth of Notre-Dame and the construction of Crossrail for the BBC, the war in Ukraine for Channel4 & Nat Geo, made a plethora of blue-chip science shows for PBS and directed the Eurovision 2023 Postcards, watched by 162 million people.
