Jamie is a director and executive producer with a reputation for innovative and ambitious filmmaking and multiplatform production. Most recently, he wrote, produced and directed INSIDE EINSTEIN'S MIND (nominated for two Emmy Awards and a Grierson Award). He directed THE HOLE, a short film with Sir David Attenborough and created EINSTEIN100, an online animation with David Tennant with 1 million views.
Jamie exec produced the OPERATION MANEATER series and SEX IN THE WILD series for Channel 4 and PBS. He series produced and directed THE WONDER OF DOGS, which brought more than 3 million viewers to BBC Two. He series produced the major multiplatform projects EASTER EGGS LIVE (Grierson Award shortlisted) and FOXES LIVE (BAFTA Craft Award nominated, Broadcast Award winner) and shaped the INSIDE NATURE’S GIANTS format, directing two of the four films in the BAFTA and RTS Award winning first series. He gained unprecedented access to NASA while producing and directing LAST SHUTTLE: OUR JOURNEY. His cameras were the only non-NASA cameras to be allowed in control rooms during the final Shuttle launch.
Jamie began directing making the first series of the cult engineering show MONSTER MOVES - a format that's still going strong 7 seasons later. He has a first class honours degree in Physics with the Philosophy of Science from Kings College London.
